Jonathan Grant Jonny Evans (born 3 January 1988) is a Northern Irish[3] footballer who plays as a protector for Manchester United and Northern Ireland. Evans was conceived in Belfast and began his profession at Greenisland FC, where he was spotted by Manchester United scouts. He advanced through Manchester United's football Academy to play in numerous remote tours in the sunny season of 2006. He then went ahead advance to Royal Antwerp and had two spells with Sunderland. He made his Manchester United first group make a big appearance in the 2007–08 League Cup, getting a customary first-crew squad part this period. While playing for United, he has been their main Northern Irish first group player. 


International career

Notwithstanding having not yet made his senior make a big appearance for Manchester United, Evans was rung to the Northern Ireland squad without precedent in September 2006, making his presentation in the critical 3–2 triumph over Spain. Evans has since held his spot in the squad. 

Sunderland credits 
In December 2006, Evans consented to join Sunderland on credit until the finish of the 2006–07 season,[7] with Manchester United and Antwerp partner Danny Simpson joining on a comparable bargain in the January exchange window. The pair helped Sunderland secure the Football League Championship title, with Evans scoring the club's "Youth Player of the Year" grant at the close of the time of year.
