Sheamus was conceived in Cabra, Dublin and was raised inside the city.[12] His father, Martin, was a dilettante bodybuilder.[13] Farrelly articulates familiar Irish, having revisited Scoil Caoimhin Primary and Coláiste Mhuire Secondary School, a Gaelscoil.[12] During his school years he sang in the Palestrina Choir until the time period characterized by thirteen, as a feature of which he showed up on the Late Late Show and Live at Three TV programmes.
